About Interior Boost

Hello,

My name is Anne, since I was a child, I’ve always been very artistic. But it is in my twenties, that I became very creative. In the early days, I couldn’t afford much to decorate my flat with, so I would hand paint and decorate my walls, staple fabric to furniture and make collage to try to make my little place home. I upcycle already then as I couldn’t afford new furniture. I love old objects and furniture and giving things a new life.

I was always doing crafts, drawing, making salt dough, calligraphy, glass painting, eventually, I started taking courses leaning clay modelling, sculpting and throwing and qualified with a 3D Art design diploma. I studied interior design and qualified with distinction in 2001.
I took sawing courses and started making my own clothes, bags, cushions and curtains, adding a personal touch to my new flat and later on to my house.

MY LOVE FOR MAKING THINGS KEEPS ON GOING.

Encourage by friends and family, I started making personalised gift for people and was getting requests to make gifts for others to give away.  I started selling my creations at craft markets. This is when Interior Boost was born.

I LOVE CREATING THINGS.

In 2019 Sue & I started doing paint pouring classes, the following year we added resin workshops.

Sue decided to retire at the beginning of this year.

We had great fun running the courses together. I will miss her greatly.
